About Us![]() ![]() Bachs Home Health Care Supply was officially incorporated in December of 1987 as a sister company to Bachs Drug and Surgical, located in Hackettstown. Our first location was originally in Washington, NJ and was a stand alone home medical equipment and surgical supply vendor to the Warren and Sussex County area. After the sale of Bachs Drug and Surgical to Thrift Drugs, and eventually to JC Penney and Eckerd Drug, the decision was made by Bob Miller, now President and CEO, to re-purchase back the HME business from JC Penney in 1997. Since then, Bachs Home Health Care Supply has opened up locations in Flemington, Phillipsburg and expanded their location in Hackettstown to include a showroom and free standing warehouse. Additional companies have been started under the Bachs corporate structure including “Touch of Elegance” for womens fittings and consultations, and Performance Custom Bracing for fitting and fabrication of orthopedic appliances. Our service area covers all of Northern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. It seems that Bach's Home Health Care Supply is a complete "One Stop Shop". Can you really take care of all my discharge/referral needs?Yes, with two exceptions. We no longer provide in home IV therapy services, nor do we provide infant apnea monitoring. Everything else is handled easily by our company. With over 25 years of company experience, combined healthcare experience of our employees in excess of 150 years and over 40 qualified associates to assist you, we feel completely comfortable in taking on any patient loads requested. Do You Bill Medicare for Purchases or Rentals?Yes, but there are limits with any insurance. The first step is your physician must have ordered, or be willing to medically justify, your equipment and supplies. After that step, your next step should be to either stop into one of our showrooms, call a local branch office, or phone 800-272-7043 for complete assistance. Certainly, there are items that are covered by Medicare with no issues and there are many items that are not billable. Each patient case is different. Please note, any purchases made thru our website shopping experience are not billable to Medicare or any other insurance. Those purchases need to be done through the branch locations, or by calling our customer service department directly. | |||
